Sonomorphism intends to give an overview about the relationship between architecture and sound. It is primary based on the research done for the PhD, Sonic Spaces which includes theoretical and scientifical findings, as well as several experiments. This blog has the desire to communicate and share innovative aspects of the above mentioned issues with other researchers.

Architect based in Barcelona, Spain and founder of the architectural design studio Congoritme arqtes. I have been Curator and Designer for the Catalan Institute of Architects and collaborator with the magazine “Quaderns d’Arquitectura i Urbanisme”. My teaching experiences have been: the Master Program of Ephemeral Architecture (at ELISAVA Design School and ETSAB), the Metropolis Program of Architecture and Urban Culture (UPC and CCCB), and the postgraduate studies ”Art and Sound-Space”.
Currently i’m investigating about architecture, sound and science in the PHD program of DPA at ETSAM (Madrid).
During the PhD research I performed several experiments to prove their scientific and transdisciplinary validity. Many of them are featured in the Experiments section. Also several articles and writings that can be found here.
